Nimbin’s monthly craft market is held in the Nimbin Community Centre grounds on the fourth Sunday of each month from 8am until 3pm. On months with a fifth Sunday there is another market – so that month there are two opportunities to come along and enjoy the variety of treats we have to offer. The Community Centre grounds are a minute’s walk from the centre of Nimbin and surrounded by big, shady trees that create a relaxed, laid-back environment away from the main street of the village.
“Great experience. Felt like entering a time capsule of the age of Aquarius/flower power 60s. Colourful, vibrant and immersive. Well worth a visit. Some great art and talks about the history of the place. Met some really colourful characters, with some really colourful stories”.

Stalls feature handcrafted gifts, retro clothing, recycled and up-cycled gear, second hand books as well as fair-trade and locally made crafts. Some months the market offers short workshops on permaculture and sustainability and every month the markets feature live music at our great year-round stage. There’s always lots of yummy food stalls including Thai food, Vegetarian, Crepes and more. Lots of family fun for a relaxing day out in Nimbin.
