About the event

The Nimbin Chamber of Commerce, together with Nimbin Central School and Nimbin Youth, warmly invites the whole community to a very special event:

🗓️ Monday 12 May 2025

📍 MPU – Nimbin Central School

🕙 5:30pm start

🎉 FREE + open to all — but please RSVP for catering purposes

What’s it all about?

We're coming together to explore how we can support young people in their journey from school to work. Through real stories, insights and ideas, we'll share what’s already working — and what more we can do together.

🔹 Hear from students, teachers and employers

🔹 Discover the results of the Nimbin Business Survey

🔹 Be part of the conversation on how to make work experience actually meaningful

🔹 Learn about local job pathways, vocational training and self-created opportunities

🔹 Ask questions and share your voice

🎤 With presentations from:

David Hyett (Nimbin Chamber)

Mark Chaseling , Mitch Cross & educators from Nimbin Central School

Local employers & young workers

Rain & Wick from Nimbin Youth

Phil Borrow from Training NSW

Whether you’re a business owner, student, teacher, parent, or community member — this conversation is for you.

It takes a village - to turn potential into real possibility!

Please RSVP to help us cater!
