Community in Nimbin

Community ownership of property, the community organisations that fosters, and the strength of volunteerism makes Nimbin a community like no other. While the centre of the village is the hub for much community activity, community ethos expands into the hills around the village, including to land sharing communities, community halls, community run schools, Landcare groups and local fire brigades.
