Nimbin’s murals are part of what makes our village so special.
The Nimbin Chamber of Commerce is currently seeking quotes from experienced artists or mural restorers to help bring the Cullen Street (Sunrise Cottage) mural back to its natural beauty.
This is an opportunity to contribute to the ongoing care and preservation of Nimbin’s iconic streetscape, supporting our visitor experience, which our community is known for.
As highlighted in recent Chamber priorities, beautification and maintaining our unique village character remain a strong focus for local businesses and the wider community.
Your EOI should include:
Materials you plan to use (including UV protection)
Your approach to restoration
Safety measures, noting that the mural is painted directly onto the weatherboards
Relevant experience or examples of past work
Please submit your EOI by the end of April 2026
