Nimbin Public School Joins the Chamber

We are thrilled to announce that Nimbin Public School has recently become a member of the Nimbin Chamber of Commerce.

This membership marks a significant step in strengthening the relationship between the school and the local business community. It provides a valuable cross flow of information, fostering better communication and collaboration between educators and business leaders.

Together, we aim to create more opportunities for our students and contribute to the overall development of our vibrant community.

Career Pathways with Chamber Members

One of the key objectives of this collaboration is to show students the pathways to careers with businesses that are members of the Nimbin Chamber of Commerce. By connecting students with local businesses, we provide them with direct insights into various industries, helping them understand the skills and qualifications required for different career paths. This exposure is invaluable in helping students make informed decisions about their futures.

We are pleased to announce that some local businesses have committed to providing placements for work experience for the students during the course of the year. In conjunction with the school, we will be seeking further opportunities that meet the needs of students supported by local businesses throughout the year.

This program reflects our belief in the importance of practical, hands-on learning experiences. By engaging with local businesses, students can gain real-world insights that will help them make informed decisions about their future careers.
