Nimbin Women in Business at the Nimbin Bowling Club The Nimbin Chamber of Commerce is pleased to share the energy and inspiration that flowed through the latest Nimbin Women in Business gathering, held at the Nimbin Bowling Club. The room was filled with creativity and community spirit, with local women from across many industries coming together to share their stories, skills and support.

We extend our sincere thanks to Councillor Virginia Waters for joining the evening. Her insights and long-standing commitment to the Nimbin community added real depth to the conversation and encouraged thoughtful reflection on the role of women in shaping our village’s future.

We also acknowledge Rainbow Power Company for proudly sponsoring the food for the night. Their support allowed everyone to enjoy the evening and feel nourished.

Most importantly, thank you to all the women who attended. Your participation, ideas and bright energy are what make this network so meaningful for our community.

Welcoming Lizzie as the New Coordinator

We are pleased to share that Lizzie Buscaino will be taking on the coordination of Nimbin Women in Business moving into the new year. Lizzie brings a deep passion for genuine connection, women’s empowerment and community-centred collaboration. Her leadership will help the network continue to grow as a supportive and inspiring space for local women in business.

If you’d like to be added to the mailing list for future gatherings, please contact Lizzie at hello@lizziebuscaino.com.au.

Nimbin Women in Business began as an initiative of the Nimbin Chamber of Commerce and has now grown into an independent, community-led network. We’re proud to continue supporting this group as it evolves and strengthens opportunities for women across our region. We would like to offer a huge thank you to Aline, whose passion and vision helped bring Nimbin Women in Business to life. Aline is not stepping away entirely - she will continue to stand alongside Lizzie as her right hand (or left!) as they work together to bring more inspiring events and gatherings to our local women.

We look forward to the next gathering in the new year and to seeing this space continue to flourish under Lizzie’s guidance.
